Anybody ever seen a Calaway Camaro in person?

what makes a camaro a calaway camaro??? isnt that a golf company? does it come with lots of balls and a big bertha?

calaway is also a performance tuner, not unlike lingenfelter or saleen for you ford heads.

although funny thing i saw on the way home form vermont. Somewhere around baltimore i saw a white fourth gen camaro, looked like a 94ish model. weird thing was as i passed it i looked to see if it was a Z28, and it had black ZL1 badges. dunno if it was a fake or what.

yeah i know what a ZL1 is, and ive seen those cars before. The black one with the donovan big block was originally a 94 body, just has a newer style front clip on it. The car i saw was on the road, driving down I95 south, so im guessing it was just badged. I passed him as he took an offramp towards annapolis and i was headed to D.C. so i didnt get a chance to put my window down to listen to the exhaust or check for duals or anything like that. I didnt think that anyone made a 94 ZL1 for the general public but it was kinda a doube take moment. it was probly a sixer with ZL1 badges. It was just weird cuz they looked like fourth gen Z28 badges, the black plastic moulding and the style of the letters, they just said ZL1 instead of Z28, very very strange.

I've seen many Camaros with that Hood or something similar that says like 350 or whatever on it where it said 400, whats up with that? Also the Callaway Camaro looks really sleek but kinda ugly, but would I be seen driving one? Yes. I love cars that are pretty rare like the Firehawk Firebird.

the ones you saw with the hood scoop and the 350 or 400 are berger camaros. they were made by a dealer who thought the camaro deserved more than a stripe package for its last year of production. the cars were equipped with bergers "perscribed power" package that was fully covered by the factory warranty.

in the paper, a while back this guy had a zl1 one of 6 or so had 600 hp with a bigblock came that way he was asking 60 thousand or so? it was a 2002 silver one

yeah i have pics of a few of those cars iroc was talking about, they have the hocky stick stripes with the hp posted on the fender, they are sweet as hell, im thinking about doing than and putting phillyrs where the hp goes. as for the zl1 the badges look weird the letters arent all the same size, i have pics of 2 of them, they look great in person, and as for a calloway i never seen one, but from a pic i saw it has big ass bug eyes for headlights like an eclipse and a strange body kit. its different, but i dont think i would buy one.

I saw a Callaway just this Wednesday - and often see it at the same weekly cruise nights throughout the summer. Belongs to my cousin's buddy; only one in Ontario.

As far as what makes it a Callaway, in this case its just the body kit. The engine is a factory LT1 which may or may not have had a few extra bolt-ons from Callaway (he added a lot of shit himself so I don't even know what came from the tuner). Its nothing special though - a 13.1 car a few summers ago that can now barely turn 13.9's.

I can't get over how much the front end resembles a '93-'97 Firebird Formula. I'll post a pic to see what you guys think...

Like... a new house, another camaro, kids college, another camaro, rebuild my maro's engine and a 6 speed, another camaro and a ZX-11, trip to some remote beach w/ my wife no kids and no clothes, another camaro, pool table, a bar, another camaro....

You could get a lot of REALLY nice camaros with $90K.

Im with you, I mean the car is amazing, I love Yenkos but the guy really is asking waaaay too much. If I had 90K i'd bring back my baby, do everything I want to it and then buy my mom an Escalade and still have some good money left if I forgot to put anything in my car.

When you go to reply with quote. look at the box with smilies at the bottom it says "SHOW ALL SMILIES". Its in blue writing
