NZ - Upper Harbour Highway Drags

Hey i was just wondering if there is any possibility, that any of you fellow kiwis have been to the drags on upper harbour highway on the North Shore?

I went there the other night with some mates, and found they were incredibly lame!!!

Hey I'm not saying drag racing is good!!

I'm not going to paticiptate (sp?) in it! I'm just watching it, so then I can laugh at the idiots. Its not as if me being there encourages it (its going to happen anyway).

Unforunaly simply being there can be enough to get you in trouble

especialy on upper harbour drive, I mean there realy arn't that many places to run to!

Hmm I guess there is the problem of no where to run too. You can get down to the hockey and soccer turfs.

Or just park in a petrol station and then say you were buying petrol or food. But I these are just ideas, I can't be bothered going back there, its far too lame!!!

HAHAHA..i live around there....u have no idea how many police i see around there eh..but I do sometimes go vtec under the upper harbour motorway bridge..booo..BAAAA!!!!!
but I did race some guy there befor..nothimg much eh..30-120km/h..and i braked..i was high and that pathetic mazda 323 turbo got smoked after i reached 40km/h..:p :p :p :D

but if u wanna do drags there..not the place man..just come to all motor/nzhonda drags this sat! I'll be there with my car..and dont' steal my stuff coz i'm gonna take my passenger seat..rear seat..sub..amp and all the heavy goodies out of my car and put it beside the drag strip!..so no stealing!!:mad: :D :p

Yeah I'rd love to come to the nzhonda drags, and then i could steal the stuff people leave on the side of the dragstrip :p :devil: :devil:

But I can't, as its an anniversary of my girlfriends, and I have too see her that day, which is still good. But I can't really bring her along to the drag racing.

But I'll probably come one time, i could even try racing in my, 1.5L Carburted Civic!!!

Less, that could be a good idea, an economy race.

I've got my awesome 7.3Litres per 100kms.

But I know my car isn't that fast compared to some cars, but overall it does a bloodly good job!!! :D

except for the new cv i had to buy today.
