This morning when I tried to start my 94 GC it started vut the starter didn't disengage. I had to unhook the batt cable to get it to stop. Waited a few minutes and hooked it up again and it was still engaged. Ignitions switch in locked position and key removed. How hard is it to get to the starter and where?

Thanks

On the 3.3L the starter is located on the front side of the engine beside the oil filter. To take it off you need to disconnect the battery cable and the wires from the starter and remove the three bolts.

Once you remove the starter replace the starter solenoid as that is what is causing your problem. Before removing it make sure that one of the wires didn't come loose and is jumping across the terminals causing the problem. This is a lot easier to fix than removing the starter.

I agree. The starter is a little heave, have some non slip glove so it wont slip out of your hands and get you.
