I replaced my front O2 sensor like Autozone said I needed to on my 2001 Jetta and let my battery sit unhooked for an hour and the light is still on. Does anyone have any suggestions now?

What code did they read? The light has to be reset or cleared using the scan tool, disconnecting the battery won't do it.

I took it down to Autozone and they were still reading bank 1 sensor. They reset the computer and it has been almost 24hrs without it coming back on. Hopefully it is fixed. Any suggestions on replacing the bulb behind the A/C-Heat controls?
