Hi all,
I've just recently had a phone kit installed in my Primera. It was new in October 2004 and is on a 54 plate (in the UK). It is the P12 shape and is a Primera Estate SVE. I have a question that I was hoping some of you who are more knowledgeable could answer for me...
When they fitted my phone kit they have charged me for the following items...
Microphone
Rod/antenna
Garnish Assy Fr
Bracket
Cradle unit
P12 phone kit
I know for a fact that the microphone and antenna were already on the car when I bought it. I was also told when I bought it that the phone kit was already in the car and all I would need would be a cradle to suit my type of mobile phone.
The bloke at the nissan garage that did this work said that although my microphone was already fitted, it wasn't wired up and that they had done this?!??! (I think he was telling a porky)
This got me thinking that maybe they have over-charged me and that all I needed was the cradle. (they charged me £400 for the gear).
Does anyone know whether I'm right or not. I need something concrete before I can go in and start shouting the odds...
Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated...
Cheers
John
