Just saw as in just noticed on the internet, or just saw on the streets with your own two eyes?:eek:

I think there were only like 7 made?

I personally think it's one of the greatest cars Ferrari has made - whether or not you like that it's a Ferrari, you have to admit it's one sexy estate :naughty:

i just don't agree with ferrari making a type of car you would see a funeral in.

its probably the best estate ever, but not the best car

There are 2 station wagons I would drive. A euro e30 325ixt (I almost bought the only one in north america), and that.

There is a one off E39 M5 station wagon they made for some dude at ///M. It's pretty sexy too.

A custom company also builds just about anytihng you could want, but I've seen Bentley Continental, and Arnage, Aston Martin DB5 (they actually made some from the factory like that) Virage and Lagonda Wagons.

First off, it was a joke.

Second, which car is the worst? The Magnum or Excelero?

Second, the Excelero, you're taking a super luxo purpose built limo and turning it into some sort of supercar, by super car, I mean every other turbocharged piece of trash Mercedes, with a powerplant off a mining truck.

MB just rubs me the wrong way, every car they make has the same engine (or option to have the), rather than try to do something different, they just make bigger and bigger engines hoping to wow people with numbers and gadgets rather than soul and tradition. The Excelero exemplifes everything I hate about Mercedes.

Just my opinion. Wheras the 456 Venice is a car that I already love, and it's been transformed into to something you'd never think, and is almost practical. It's like some sort of dream grocery getter.

I like mercedes because they're finally bringing cool luxo diesels to the US (again). About damn time!

Just like BMW and Porsche! :D

None of the three have made a good car since the early 90s.

Well, compared to MB, they're trying.

Porsche's come up with some decent stuff, while lately they're kinda lacking, if they came out with a 944/928 even 914 type car, I'd tatoo the Porsche logo somewhere on myself. The 996 wasn't terrible, the fact that they brought back the Targa, 4S and Turbo S makes me content.

BMW at least sticks to a plan. The 3, 5 and 7 series, have all been around for 20+ years, same goes for the M versions. MB has a new Class every couple years, and just uses the same engines anyways, which are just a super or turbocharged version of the regular V8. Sure they make decent cars, I just wouldn't buy one.

I was making a point about the Excelero anyways.

19 Years overseas, point is, first AMG was 95', nearly 10 years later. You also don't see an C36's anymore, wheras I could walk down to my local BMW dealer and still get an M3. Mind you some things have changed, but an M3 is still the hardcore 3 Series it was back in 86' with an engine to die for. The New C55 is just another C sedan with the slut of a 5.5L V-8 found in every Benz.

I agree with this 100%. Mercedes are simply whoring thier brand by making a car for every fucking Niche! The C Class, S Class, E Class, SL and CL are fine Mercedes has been building them for years (Or at least cars in that segment), I'll even turn a blind eye to the CLK and SLK.

But THEN they go and make the A Class, the Viano, the Vaneo, the B Class, the CLS (I never thought I'd need a four door coupe that is near identical to an E Class, good thinking) and the M Class ALL of these being plasticky piles of shit that come from a maker once prided with it's reputation for building cars to a standard, not a cost (The CLS is an exception, it's quite well built, but still pointless).

BMW are different though, while they've jumped on the technology band wagon, thier chassis are still excellent, as are thier engines and aside from the X3, every car is in keeping with the brands traditions (Soft Roaders are not something a Sports luxury brand should be making).

Oh yeah, 456 Estate = uber tasty, so does the 456 sedan and the 456 convertible.

Just watch the video of the BMW 6-Series being built from idea to showroom and see how much engineering went into it in such a short time frame. Unbelieveble.

As for the Ferrari 456 Estate......it's magnificient!
