Electric Supercharger???????????????

I just bought a Venom 400 for my civic and everyone says it dumps a bunch of fuel in and just runs rich because there’s not enough air to compensate. I saw an electric turbo blower that clamps in between the throttle body and the cold air. Do you think this will actually work and give it some more horse power???????? I have a 99 Civic DX with some extras it should handle it fine. I’m just lookin for some cheaper horse power.
