need advice

I am planning on buying a new bike soon. I have been riding for the past 5 years and i had a 900cc ninja so im use to some power. I was wondering out of these 3 bikes which you would choose and why? The bikes are GSX-R1000, Dacauti 999, or a YZF R1. It will be a 2004 or 2005 model thanks for your help.

which ZX9 did you have?

have you sat on any of the bikes to see which one you fit on best?

as for power, the Duke will have less so it will be more like an older ZX9 but the two newer jap bikes will be so close i doubt you'd pick the difference until you rode both. it would come down to which one suits you better

Ducati will cost the most and dish out least power, high maintenance, but great handling. I'd only get Ducati for weekends ride, eccentric looks, and v-twin sound if it has LOUD pipe.

I'd get R1 for looks, plain and simple.
Gixxer 1K for slipper clutch.

As for power, they all have lots, and if I had to comment on it, it'd sound like quotes from sportbike magazines. :D

I have ridden a 2004 gsxr of my cousins and i liked it. MY cousins friend has a ducati and its not to bad either. Im not worried about the price but am thinkin more along the lines of the yamaha since i have ridden it. I had an older ninja nothing fancy but sold it for my mustang and miss the nice summer day rides.
