buying a new car

ok well im 15 right now.. in my town there are about 6,000 people.. 3,000 are about 16-25 and I see people street racing all the time.. my friend has a nissan 240sx he's hitting 12's on quarter mile.. so i have about 10 street racer friends.. they all got money from there parents to buy there cars.. but I can't get any money from my parents.. so were would I be able to get a good deal on a car because I have to pay for it myself.. my brother just bought a 2005 mustang saleen for 45,000 because he is in marine corps. so i feel like im out of the game.. if I don't get a new car i am stuck with my 96 mustang with 90,000 miles.. it's either i save up for a hayabusa or if u guys got an idea on a good car post.. i hate civics overrated..

The best tip I can give you is: Stay in school.

Don't get a 'busa. If you want a sport bike do yourself a huge favor and start out with a 600 like an R6. Incredible power, and the lightweight will save your butt a hundred times. Save the big expensive bikes for the pros. Heck, I'm 31, been riding bikes since I was 13, and I weigh 240 lbs. I still chose a 600 and I had much more fun on it than on my friend's R1.

Stick with the Mustang. It has so much aftermarket support and the mileage is fine for that car. Save the $5000 you'd spend on a Tercel and spend it on the 'stang. You'll be happy you did.

Drop in a really hot 302 and show that 240 who's boss. At least you have a car. My first car was a 1983 Chevy Celebrity that I shared with my older sister. Try picking up chicks with a maroon panty-wagon.

Count your blessings that you have a 'stang at 15.

well his mustang could also be a V6, in that case i think i would wana change, but if not for sure stick with it.

My advice would be to get a job and open a bank account and dont spend any money. Thats the way to save!

Curtis has a good point about that Mustang. Even if it is a V6, take the money you would have spent on a car and boost the hell out of that thing...just don't do anything stupid and blow the engine. You could smoke your friends 240 easily if you spend your money right.

Have you ever thought of a muscle car? With a some money, time and a good deal you can have a very quick ride. Just a thought.
