In need of new Head/Block Fast!!!!!!

I need to find a Reasonalbe priced Head/block fast.. I start a second job in a week and i need my car to get there... My machanic told me he'll install the engine for free if i can find one.. anyone know where i can get a cheap priced engine?? or just the Head and Block?? I searched for forum and came up with nothing.. thanks in advance

You can first check with your local junkyard, they might have some if you need it right away. I just recently replace the head on my 1998 Eclipse, and I got it from the junkyard. The only problem I had was matching the head with the engine. Chrysler and Mitsubishi both made head for this car, and I orginally had a Chrysler head, and now I think I have a mitsubishi head, and the camshaft and crankshaft sensors were not in tune with the new head. I advise you to call Clearwater Cylinder head website is www.cylinder-heads.com and phone number is 1-800-572-1963 and ask for Pat, they are in Florida, and they can usually get you a head in 3 business days, and they will match up the perfect cylinder head for you car. The price on the heads are about $300 and about $25 for shipping. So give them two places a try. I know this was a little lengthy, but I hope it works.
