both shitty components, they go hand in hand and will work fine together.

If you in NY just go to canal st. The prices down there is good. That panasonic radio is 50x2 which probably means it can power 2 speakers?. get a nice pioneer which is about the same price, and some nice pioneer speakers and you will be good to go.Please dont pay sales tax if you pay cash in canal, they will wave it if you just ask. Circuit city and Best buy are good stores but just not my favorite when it comes to car audio. P.S do some research on the radio you want before you go to canal, price it at circuit city or Best buy, then go down there with the model number and see the difference.Good Luck

I will not own a Panasonic car stereo again unless they make some serious changes in quality... the unit i have now (i got as a temporary unit used) skips if i give it a dirty look, and the roads around here mean that i rarely get a chance to play CDs in it.
In general, you want to match your RMS rating on your stereo and speakers pretty closely, with the RMS rating on the speakers somewhat higher then the amplifier. My suggestion to you would be to call crutchfield and have them help you set up a system- it'll be a little more expensive, but they'll make sure you don't do anything stupid, and they'll give you all the adapters/brackets and free tech support.
just my .02 centavos.
