Fuel Injectors

I've been looking at some fuel injectors, and am just wondering what the difference between some of them were. There's some listed from 17 lbs/hr flow rating up to 24 lbs/hr flow rating. Considering that I have a 3.4L, what lbs/hr fuel injectors should I go with?

I know my new ones are 42# injectors.
Not sure which ones you need man. Mods?? Just stock injectors?? What are you looking for? Stock replacement?

Well, I'm trying to get everything I'm going to need for a rebuild. I guess stock injectors would work, but I'm just trying to get as much power as I can from my lil 3.4. So thats why I was wondering what the difference was between the lbs/hr flow rating on fuel injectors.

How much power you plan on making??

You going with boost of any kind?

Yeah, eventually after I'm done with the rebuild and have more money saved up, I'm going to slap on some twin turbo's.

Well, when you boost it, you will need more fuel.

What kinda power you looking to make N/A? 200 wheel? More?
I say get the bigger injectors and make sure you have the car tuned for them.

Well, I'm wanting to at least hit 250 hp after the turbo's.

And yeah, I was thinking I should go with the bigger injectors as well. And in the mean time I can go with a higher rated fuel pump, and a fuel pressure regulator. That way once I have enough money saved for the turbos, I'll be all set. That sound right to you? Or did I overlook anything (fuelwise)?

I am thinking the 24# injectors will probably be too small once you get the turbos. But they should handle anything until then.
Not sure what you will need injector wise once the TT setup is installed.
Are there any boards that are V6 F-Body related?? Hell, maybe even LS1.com or LS1Tech.com might be able to help.

Good luck. It sounds like you know where you are going with everything, just need an extra kick. I am that way all the time. Hell, I changed numerous things I was gonna do with this upcoming swap already. One of the few things I did get right was fuel, although I did change my mind on the pump. I bought a Walbro 255, but sold it to upgrade to the Aeromotive A1000. I have 42# injectors, new silver fuel rails, and the Aeromotive regulator. Electric fuel pressure gauge as well.

Also man, check out www.byunspeed.com for parts. Not sure his selection for V6 cars, but his service is badass, shipping is fast, and ALL the pricing includes shipping. I know the sites owner personally. Hell, just watched him install a cam into his SS.

You can step up to the 24# injectors, but you will need the computer reprogrammed...either buy a chip or re-flashed...not sure depends on the year of your 3.4L.

As far as a turbo kit, depends on the amount of boost you are going to run and how much power you plan on making. I would seriously tell you to get a good fuel system first and then the kit and then have someone put in a good tune before you romp on it.
