Can it Happen?

Hello All!! My friend and I are having a little friendly competition. I have GM performance 350 rated at 300hp and 370 lb ft torque. I want to slip the engine between the fenders of a 86 or 87 Monte SS with t tops. I want to know if anybody thinks that combonation would keep or beat my friends 84 Grand National which is all stock and don't forget the 84 GN were the slower of the bunch. I think I could keep up and maybe even beat him. Any thougts,comments,suggestions? Be honest!!!!!

dont have a clue but good luck. i've got a monte that pushes close to 425hp and it walks on most anything stock!!!!

well if its bone stock gn , u should beat him since a stock gn new was around 200 hp...as far as i know...so ya u can take him, just get traction haha

His 0-60 is 8 sec which is pretty slow for a GN even an 84 but once the turbo spools up he hauls as#. I think the advertised horsepower was underated for insurance purposes. I was told the HP on the 84 GN was more like 250hp and 330 torque.
