alternator not puting out a charge

All started when a bump was hit and the unsecured battery hit the body, frying the battery, the voltage regulator, and the alternator. After changing all these items I finally got 12 volts back to the lead wire on the alternator, but it still is not puting out a charge. What now?? Am I over looking something.... PLEASE HELP!!! I want to go mudding again
