Both really. An X-pipe generally gives better performance but leaves you with a more raspy sound. Where an H-pipe gives you a very good toned sound. However in my opinion the performance differences are minimal between the two.

Personally I like the X-pipe more, but your right it does give that raspy sound.

Yes, deeper but not by a lot. The X-pipe And H-pipe are simular in performance, so i would say you can't go wrong with either. But i'd go X-pipe.

We had a 2001 GT with LT's and o/r x-pipe & o/r prochamber dynoed, the difference was about 2-3 HP on 5 runs each. The o/r prochamber sounds much better and the x-pipe gains are minimal, thus is the reason i bought o/r prochamber. :)

What ever kind you get make sure you get rid of the cats, those cats choke the motor off alot.

I love the raspy sound of my BBK X Pipe, makes the car sound like it has balls.
