Fuel Pump Voltage???? Help!

:screwy:Driving the other day when my truck shut off as I was going around an intersection:mad:. I have checked the schrader valve and I am getting no fuel there. The pump does not come on when the key is turned ahead. The pump and sending unit were new about 4 weeks ago. It has been running rough as of late also. I checked the voltage to the pump at the connection above the tank with the key on and I am getting 6.85 volts. Is this enough? The sending unit is recieving around 8 volts.:banghead::banghead::banghead:
