Hi there, I'm considering buying my neighbor's 92' bonneville for $100, and the Motor mount (or two of them) need replacing. Specifically the ones that are the furthest two at the front of the engine, closest to the grill. My question is where is the cheapest place I can find them (online, local store, or other), any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I bought the trans mount (front left mount) from my local Advance Auto for about $17. You should be able to find them at all of the major parts store.

Due to your response, I did some additional research. It seems that I got really lucky and had to replace a very inexpensive mount. I ran some part numbers through www.gmpartsdirect.com and see what you are talking about. Some were $75 but one was nearly $200. YIKES! And to think, I tossed several motor mounts from a 93 parts car cause I had no idea of the cost of new ones.
Click on the link above and use their online search function. Use the Collision guide and search within Engine category. There's images to help with part number IDs.
Have you considered a junk yard? Usually I wouldn't recommend one for bushings and whatnot but it might be the right place to start for a $100 vehicle.

Try knucklebusters.com. They have good prices and are real friendly.

thanks again for the sites they're really helpfull. Yea I was thinkin' bout a junk yard but the junk yards usually rip the engines out so I'm worried that finding an OK motor mount there would be like a needle in a hay stack :( hopefully I can find a $17 one or somthin like that.
