Can Somebody please tell me how to remove the "BIG TOP" of the Dashboard?
There is the part where the speedometer and gauges are and on the side of the passenger there is the Air Bag right? well that is NOT the part I want to remove.
It is the one tha covers the 2 round speakers and where the defrost heater comes out, Is it a POP UP lid or does it has screws? or what?
Can someone please help?
Thanks

First you want to take off your "A" pillar mouldings (vinyl from windshield to door) top down, there should be 3 clips holding each sid on. The next step is simple, there are 3 or 4 clips holding the front section of the dash on, they are tight so use some force and pry them straight up on the outer edge. When the dash pops up just slide the dash towards the rear and it comes right out. Hope it helps, Rob.

Thanks a lot Rob, I'll try it this Saturday and let you know, the problem relies in the speakers, previous owner (just bought it a month ago) really pump up the volume and damaged the round speakers, I just changed the 9" x 8" rear ones and I am trying to figure out what size and shape, if any, the door speakers were or should be, as it has none but the connectors are there, It has a funny shape and can't figure out if they were round or ovals and or what size.

Rene
