Supercharger would be cheeper. Your best bet for turboing your car would be to buy a front clip from a GTO(The 3000GT's name in japan), and then swap over the parts you need. Front clips are around 3 grand plus shipping, then add labor to swap the parts over.

i'm with him, a supercharger will be your best bang for your buck on an SOHC motor. If you want a turbo, your better off either buying a TT, buying a DOHC and TTing it, or swapping in a DOHC TT.

I know you haven't stated it yet, but if you're interested in S/C your stealth, talk to musashi3000GT if you have anymore questions, he's the S/C know-it all.

instead of buying the base model then spending the extra cash on a s/c, just buy the TT off the bat.

lol, but if he doesn't have too much money, he prolly won't have that much in reserve in case somthin' goes wrong.

then save up more money, that would be my opinion. if something goes wrong with the base model, it can be just as expensive to replace/repair the items. how many miles are on it? it's probably getting close for a 120k maintenance, which is not exactly cheap.
personally I would get the vr4/tt and not look back. You will kick yourself hard when you get this wimpy 160hp car and it just doesn't perform. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the 3/s, but if you are going to get one, get the TT. It's worth it in the longrun.
