Does anyone know where the oil cooler is located? Dealer told my wife she had a leak there. Its a 2000 Bravada. Thanks

The oil cooler is on the drivers side/rear side of the radiator..inside the radiator tank on '92 and '97. If you have steel lines & fittings on the rear/drivers side of the radiator, that's the oil cooler fittings. You'd think that oil lines to the hottest water inlet to the radiator would NOT be a cooler for the oil but with oil temps getting as high as 300F, I guess 210F engine coolant would be cooler.
I believe the original idea was to get the oil warmed up as quick as possible for fuel milage considerations as hot thin oil is slicker than cold thick oil as well as easier to pump.
