Is someone biased?

Ummm, before i reply to this can some of you people take a look at this.

I had a 1997 GSR and did the whole JRSC at (in th end) 13lbs., and having owned many forced inducted Honda's, I will recommend doing a turbo, or a custom turbo on that car. I will never do another JRSC, not because it didn't work, because the bang for buck was bad, you had to spend many $$$ to upgrade(i.e. make faster), and my fastest e.t was 13.8 in the 1/4. I had a SOHC 92 Civi Si, with a greddy kit, and a few mods, tuned, that ran a 13.7. I spent more on the GSR than the Si also. Just trying to give good advice. The GSR @ 13 lbs. dyno'ed at 208 at the wheels, the Si @ 198, it was lighter and faster, and close on HP. I have built 3 friends custom turbo setups, with stock bottom/engine, the best HP @ 342, with built block(sleeved) @ 408. Just depends on your $$$$.

Now, i just want to know, am i the misinformed one here because that last quote reeks of ignorance, or am i optimistic. I look at that response and think.... They come with 145 whp stock. They run mid 15's stock. 13 psi adds 80 hp? 80whp gain brings you from high 14 to high 13? Does anyone else see what i see?

If you notice, on 6 psi, the GSR is making 208 whp. TheRedPill obviously didn't know what he was talking about to begin with. And more than likely didn't own a GSR. 13 psi and he was only able to make 208 whp and he spent uber amounts of money just to get it to run a 13.8. He's an idiot.

Stock and with a really good driver, the GSR could pull off a low 15 high 14 sec run. With the JRSC right now, you could more than likely pull off a high 13 low 14 run. At only 6 psi nonetheless. You are not misinformed at all. The other guy doesn't know what he is saying. If that guy was running 13 psi, he would be in the low 13 high 12's range I believe. Don't take my word for it, just guesstimating. All in all, you seem to know very well how you are doing and just do a little research next time :thumbsup:.

If it runs 15.5 stock..80whp more puts it to 14.7 (what honda tuning had a JRSC integra running)..so in order to run a 13.9..you'd need to lose 8 more tenths. A total of 1.6 seconds. With 80whp. It sounds to me like you're being ignorantly optimistic.

13psi isn't going to 'atleast double that'. You'd need 14.7 PSI of boost to double stock horsepower. With one bar of boost I still don't think you'd break 300whp.

So off its not even funny. You need to experience boost on your own car before you can talk about it. I ran a 16.1 without boost boost, i added boost 4.5 PSI, and i ran a 14.7. So wait a minute i lost 1.4 seconds, according to your theory of 1 tenths a second per PSI, i should only be about 15.5 right now.

And for once, could you not be an ass in a discussion by trying to put down someone elses car because your stock mid 14 second Mustang is such a godly car.

1. 1 PSI does not give you 10 HP, it can give you "up to" 10 HP.
