Sometimes when I'm driving my prelude with the AC on, I can hear and feel the ac compressor going off and on continuosly (like every 20 second). maybe some moisture in the system?, old dryer/receiver?, is that normal?. PLEASEE HELPP!!

That is called short cycling. You are low on freon. The good thing is that the compressor is working. You will have to have the AC system filled and have die added so that you can find out where it is leaking from

Thank Sofast, I'm not sure about that cause I took it to a AC shop and the guy told me that the system was even overcharged ( I know they are always liar jejeej). I don't know if when it's overcharged does the same thing as when it's low on freon. I put a new ac compressor a few month ago, but didn't change the dryer/receiver. can that be the problem?

An overcharged system will make the compressor cycle fast and there may be low idel with it two because the system is straing to turn the compressor.

The drier desecant bag can burst and cause all kinds of problems. Does the sight glass look extreemly milky. An over charge will cycle the compressor on high pressure, and damage the compressor. If over charged there want be any bubbles in the sight glass. You need gauges.

I'm planning on changing the dryer and compressor. Cause I change the compressor a few month ago (used), but didn't change the dryer. :-( and the problem is getting worse...and the summer is arriving..
