Ok my car feels fine in 1st then i hit second and it feels like i have a major boost leak. Now i built a tester via vfaq.com but i found this other web site that had some bs about opening the TB and T'ing a vac line on the BCS and some other stuff. I thought you can just pull off the intake from the turbo and bolt the tester up and connect your air supply. Am i wrong? Is there a certain way u have to do it?

Thats how i read ur supposed to do it, that way u listen/feel for air leaking, hence boost leak....vfaq.com is usually right about most things. I think I saw someone on the board doing it ur way though

First, hook it up to the turbo. Then, if things seem funny, try hooking it up to the TB. There are quite a few seals that can wear out there, and if you're not sure where the leak it, that's a good place to test independantly by hooking up to it directly.

They have a boost leaker test on ebay cheap....or you can save yourself a few dollars and buy the parts yourself....I have actually seen how to build somewhere around this place we call the internet. Try doing a google search

The vfaq one is fine. If you do tap into a vac line or something, you still have to pull the intake and cap off the turbo so all the air doesnt just leak out there. The air wont go through the motor, since the intake or exhaust valves will be closed on each cylinder.
