ive got a 2000 gs and i was wondering what would be better cost and perfomance wise....1-to build up the stock motor from ground up or 2- to swap it for the evo VIII motor?

Your stock motor is already strong. It won't hurt to built it tho.

build = about 4-5 grand
swap = 10-15 grand
swap = 10-15 grand
