Center console question...Need help!

I have only had my 2000 blazer lt for about 3 months now and I am still unsure about many things. I am going to make do a custom install with screens in the console between the two front seats. The problem is I have no idea on how to remove the console! I need to keep it in tact so "ripping" it out is not an option. Does anyone have an instrustions on how to take this out? ((It is the console directly below the radio and a/c controls that continues through the seats. There is a tape player in is and cup holders. If you know what I am talking about and have instructions please post. Thanks.

Pop off the top of the tape player, remove the tape player. Remove the single 10mm nut up front. Open the console compartment. Remove the 2 phillips head screws at the front of the compartment. Lift compartment out. Remove the 2 10mm nuts inside the compartment. Remove console.
