Wrangler Stock Decal Removal

I have a 1993 Wrangler with a huge gay decal on the side of it! It is a giant splash that is pink, purple, and teal colored, I hate it! It is a stock decal and I dont know if it can be removed. Will a heat gun remove the decal? And if so, will it hurt the paint of the vehicle?

A heat gun is what I used when I bought the Islander. It didn't hurt a thing. But when you get the decals off, wax and buff the area so it blends with the rest of the paint. Hope this helps!!

Just removed the decal tonight and everything went smoothly. A few scratches here and there but over all I am pleased. Thanks for the incite :)

You can typically use a nice soft rubbing compound to get the scratches out. I have owned two seperate 93 YJs and did the same thing. It works well.
