sound of supercharger

I know that a turbo eclipse's blowoff valve makes a high pressure sound of air releasing... can anyone send a sample of a superchargers sound or discribe it please. thank you.

it sounds like a whine or whistling

somewhat intimidating, and somewhat curious if someone doesn't know what it is that your car is running right... at least the ones i've heard

you want to hear a small example of it? take a pipe about the same size of your intake pipe, cover the end, blow really hard to build pressure, then take your hand off of it and listen to the noise it releases. times that by about 5 and there's your example

it really is like a whine, and the BOV is barely audible in the ones that I've heard (SVT lightning). Turbos sound way louder during spool, and BOV noises.
