Hello:
I am new to the forum and have a question?
I own a 1992 Corvette. I stored it in my garage over the winter and in the spring I went to start it, but the battery seemed to be dead. I replaced the battery with a new one and still the beast did nothing. All the lights, radio, wipers, power antenna everything else works fine but the car won't turnover. The vehicle started fine when I parked it for the winter. If anyone has a clue our some suggestions it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the input 1963, I tryed a new starter on my car and still have the same problem (won't turnover) even with the headlights on and trying to start the car it doesn't even dim the lights down. I'm beginning to believe it might be the vats system but I'm not sure. Any other suggestions?

you have a bad connection to your knock sensor. it is right above the starter on the engine block. tap or wiggle the wire and it should start. if you want to replace the pigtail, it will go out completely, go to the junk yard for one or your gm dealer. pn 12102621 it is $16.76 well worth not having to lay in the snow or rain to wiggle the wire. hope this helps.
