I just got a used Orion 1200d but the manual did not come with it. By this PIC (http://a763.g.akamai.net/7/763/1644/v003/app.infopia.com/img/image/fp/extra/1/VPID/1499789/ver/003) it looks like it has 2 channels by the but i know its a 1 channel amp. I need to know what i have to do to crossover the channels or whatever i have to do to put the wires in series or parallel. Thanks

don't hook it up give it to me lol....... but no it just has 2 connections for + and - so it's easier to hook up more subs. Think of them as Y-slpitters they go to the same place. so just hook up like you would a normal mono amp. And enjoy the amp orions are nice.

If you hook them up individually (like two subs...one to each...or ONE dual voice coil sub...) it will internally parallel the connection. Just keep that in mind ;)

alright so i got my subs wired to 2 ohms each so when i put the wires from each sub into each + and - i should get 1200 Watts? or will it give me 600?

Ok, TWO subs...each wired to 2 ohms...then wired individually to each channel. The amp will internally parallel, and it will see a 1ohm load, providing 1200rms!

i have the MA100XL's. I know the amp is too powerful for them, so i might sell them soon. The only thing is that my dad made a box without me knowing, cause i was at college, but it is way too big. its like 3.8 ft^3 and the maximum sealed box size for each sub is .85 ft^3. he already covered the box in carpet so it would be a waste of money to get rid of it. any suggestions?

Actually the box he made is probably better then reccomended..... companies always say that their subs need WAY to small sealed enclosures...... you'll be able to get some low end out of them but it will ahve a loose sound. And for your new subs..... go with either incriminator Li's or RE SE's. Li's will get louder SE's will sound better.
