what year truck? Could be your rear pads or shoes and your drums/rotors need turned.

Sqeeking when hitting the brakes or when driving down the road? If driving down the road, it could be your shocks or leaf spring bushings. If its only when you hit the brakes, then its your brakes.

98...and its only when driving down the road, but its happening at even intervals so it doesnt seem like its the shocks, more like somthing spinning that needs to be lubricated

could be dry spring bushing , or pads , might even be loose beds bolts , check the tightness of everything and squit some kind of lube like similar to WD40 , but not WD 40 , becuase it dries up to fast , some more silicone based like zep 45

Still could be the pads rubbing against the drum. Also could be the axel bearings.

The bearings are lubricated with the rear diff oil. If they're squeaking, they need replaced. (If you change the bearings, change the seals too, total will be about 30 bux)

How many miles are on your truck? Some times the backing plates for the rear brakes get wear grooves in them that cause the pads to not return all the way. You will have to remove the pads to see the grooves.

i noticed when driving that when i apply the brakes the squeek stops, so it must have to do with the brakes
