dodge grilles

iv'e found that the ram taillights are the same from 1988 to 1993. dose any one know for sure if the grilles for these years are interchangable? they are all slightly different. are they direct bolt ons? i have a 1991 with that big, ugly chrome grille and wanted to use an older one and blacken it out for a tougher look!!!

Yeah, I don't know why they changed the grills. I liked the look of the '88 best myself.

72,73 had the same grill
74,75,76 had the same grill
77,78 had the same grill
79,80 had two styles of grills quad sqaure headlights (mostly on lil reds & some warlocks)
and a basic single circle headlight grill

81-85 were the same
86-90 were the same
91-93 were the same

If you are to change the grill you will need to the change the core support too, because the headlights on 91 to 93 rams were up higher than the others.
