Hey I'm thinkin about buying this 1995 Jetta GL but I don't know if theres much aftermarket for them. I know theres alot of aftermarket for the VR6 but I didn't know about the 2.0 4cyl GL model. I'm hoping to make this pretty fast, like 14's in the 1/4 fast. I know nuespeed makes a supercharger kit but I didn't know if any internal work would need to be done for it to be reliable and how much of a power increase would I get? I really like the way the Jetta looks and that is why I want it, but I also want a pretty fast car. Thanks.

They make more preformance parts for the 1.9, 2.0 and 1.8T models then they do for the VR6. This is because the inlines provide less initial performance but have a wider market so this encourages designers to sell parts for them. Think about it... Honda? Acura? But how many turbo chargers and intercoolers do they make for the Mercedes. thats an A3, so just about everything they make for VW in the way of custom, its yours.
