STRANGE GRINDING NOISE, help plz

I've searched quite a bit regarding this and can't find an answer.

When I start my integra after it sits for 30+ min and begin to drive (for or rev) I get a loud grinding type noise, especially if I turn the wheel. If I turn the wheel it makes a sustained grinding noise and if I just pull forward or backwards, it makes short spurts of the noise. The noise only lasts 10-20 sec after I begin driving and then goes away...

Now, the strange thing is, I have found if I let the car warm up for 3-5 min before pulling away it doesn't make this noise. At first I thought it maybe a wheel bearing since it sounds to be coming from the passenger side. But now that I know that it goes away after you let it warm up it makes me think it vould be a trans problem.

New trans fluid?

Something else?

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Well it sounds like it could be a number of things (none of them good). Not really sure off hand, kinda need to be there to hear it. If you want turn the car on have a friend rev it up a little and get under the car see if it's anything in the bottom end. If not, then on to the top.

Sounds like your axles. Get the car in the air and inspect both axles (especially cv joints)
