I tried ordering the 2002 gauge cluster from Scottsdale Infiniti 3 days ago using their online form and they said they would contact me an hour after I submitted it. They haven't emailed me yet. Is there another way to get in contact with them, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks! :)

ASK for TJ he is cool. He even did research on Part numbers for my P10 when I was doing my JDM Swap... He was not going to make any money that time but still helped out alot. I got my Fog lights. Speaker and Side marker from him ....

Henry...

I'd hardly call your car ricey!

yes most cars with about 20 different stickers slapped on from different manufacturers does look ricey on most cars... but yours is pretty clean and sweet!!! and its pretty damn close to looking exactly like a BTCC Primera so... I wouldnt say its ricey... more like racey!! :D

Speaking of the BTCC, i'm actually working to make my car look like the Anthony Reid Vodaphone Primera. Should have it done in time for the next car show here in Southern California. I'll post up pics when i'm done. Thanks for the compliment b-b00gie. You gotta post up some pics of your primera. Must feel good to be the only one in North America with the most unique g20.

O.K., after seeing PrimeraGt's g20, i've come to a conclusion. My car is ricey. I'm peeling off that crap today and i'm just gonna go clean for a while. PrimeraGt, where did you get the body kit? Looks almost as good as b-b00gie's kit. Did you have to import it too? I was gonna do my car like yours for the show here in So Cal. Now i'm gonna have to figure out a new scheme. How much did that cost you anyways?

All of us have our preferences as to how we want our cars to look. Whether you want to dump 50 yards of vinyl or not, its up to you. Make sure its something you want to do though because once you spend $800 on graphics, it kinda is too late to rip them right off two days later because your neighbor thinks its stupid and now you agree too. There is a shop here in Orlando that did my graphics.. Speedvision Graphics. He did a great job and took about nine hours to do. I will be doing the graphics on my own this time around only because they will be much easier. I have chosen the graphics used on the Max Power car.
All I have for a body kit is the Erebuni EVO bumper and my touring wing which I got off one of the actual touring cars, other than that.. its the factory side skirts and a 2000 rear bumper.

Primera Gt,

Why don't you call up "Super Street" magazine to do an article on your car? I bet you'd make Cover page. Hey, if you need vinyl I have connections for your next project. Just let me know. I could probably save you a couple of hundred dollars.

b-b00gie,
Got any tips on how to make an automatic g20 a little faster?
I'm tired of getting smoked by every honda i race. Help ME!!

b-b00gie
07-15-2001, 05:26 PM
hmm.. automatics... uh..

you could go the expensive way and get your tranny done by Level10..

or just stick with your typical mods such as cams, advanced timing, intake, exhaust, headers etc....

Hello, I really don't see why you people with auto trannys don't just convert the car to manual...I've done it twice now on 2 P10's and its fairly straight forward...Hell, buy the parts you need and cover my expenses and I'll go switch it over for you. It's not really that expensive to do compared to a Level 10 modded auto tranny.

Parts MAX 1500 CAD
Labour MAX 750 CAD

2250$ and you've made a serious performance improvement...Not to mention if you decide to use a tranny from an NX2000 :)

Personally I like a clean car with no visable stickers. However I think if you actually show your car in competitions then it's cool. After all it's your car, do what you like with it. As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

Run, run away!

TJ at Scottdale is just as stupid as the manager himself. I told him I want a front corner signal light, he sent me a bumper light! I wanted a hood rubber mount, he sent me a trunk rubber mount.
I asked for mudguards, he repeatly said he would send them together but it was never shipped!

Last, the manager is also a monkey. I paid for a brand new touch up paint. He sent me a used one! So, go and figure...

I would not recommend Scottdale because their service sucks, and the waiting time is super long....

My 2 cents worth....

Adam

Yes but as long as everybody doesn't find it sucky. Then it is low on your self esteem. The best way is to ask a really good graphics designer and he'll tell you if your lettering sucks. Personnaly, I have develloped a taste for good looking graphics 'cause my father and my brother both do that kind of thing. But that won'ty help anyone out.

This is how I think of it: If your car is used for racing in any way, then letter it in any way and tell people it's a competion car with a good concience.

But if it's not a competition car, then any excessive sticks ARE ricey.

But we, as car lovers, should never fall into riceyness.
The definition of rice is the product or someone who tries to make their car LOOK fast.

Bottom line is: If you car looks modestly good, then it's OK.
If you car looks like a race car and it goes like a Civic, then it's a rice car.

My opinion only,

Dillweed

I ordered the fog lights from scottsdale on July 6, was told that it would arrive in 4-5 days, waited till July 17 and it never arrived, called back, they found out that there was some sort of shipping problem by UPS, so they decided to recall the previous package and they would send me a new one. The new one didn't arrive until July 24, but Scottsdale screwed up and sent it to my apartment and not to my house as I instructed them to do, so I had to reschedule delivery back to my house by UPS, so I had to wait another 3 days for that to happen. It took 20 days for me to receive my product. That was one long aggravated wait.
