A funny race story

me and a couple of my friends went down to the beach last night too talk to the guys with all the bad ass cars, we've been there a couple tymes before and nobody's raced... so my friend, he drives a 91 Probe GT... my other one drives a 2002 Civic LX. well they decided to race and we where gonna video record it.. so they got lined up at the red light, and when it turned green they took off.. my friend with the Probe was winning and they where about 6 seconds into the race and this dark green 300ZX passed em both, making them look soo slow, it was so funny. when they got back the dude with the ZX came by and we talked to him for a lil while and asked him what he had done to his engine. he was pretty cool, when he left, he stomp it and turned it sidewayz almost. we got that race on tape. it's a kodak moment lol.

hmmmm waht did he do to his 300ZX? i'm pretty sure a stock 300ZX TT would wipe the floor with the probe and the civic LX

He said he had bigger everthing.. turboz, intercooler, injectors, some internal work. basically a BPU XZ.

I hate what that happens, when I try to race and other car leaves me in the dust and makes me look so slow and stupid. I hate when that happens!

i know how you feel. esp when yoru car looks fast. and you lose. omg!! i'm like....................errrrrrr. but my car is still in its infant stage. i'm still deciding what i'm planning to do, get some real power mods. such as racing cam shafts, cold air intake,racing cat and n1 dual exhuast. so i might take 1 second off my time. but that is a grand total of around 1600. thats almost the price of a SR20DET red top. but i don't want to get left in the dust like that. i think my car is unusaually slow for a S14. my friend says there might be somethign wrong with the timing. so i'm going to have him take a look at the timing chain and see if its off or not.

i smoke my brothers S14 all the time, don't get me wrong, i love em but in stock form, they're pretty underpowered unless your racing a civic...

keep the KA setup and get a turbo man!!!
