Other suggestions re: water pooled on passenger side

Water is still pooling on passenger side floor. There is no sign of water draining under the car when the AC is running...

I tried drilling a 1/4 inch hole in the black plactic disc under my passenger side carpet. I ran a wire through with almost no resistance and also used an air compressor to blow out the hole. Water trickled back, but not in any great amount.

I also removed the cowl (cover) and blew out the leaves and debris that had accumulated (primarily on the drivers side).

I still don't see water draining underneath. How long should it take to see draining?

Any other ideas would be great...

I had the exact same problem on my '94 Jeep. Changes are you had your A/C Evap replaced (given all the problems with the A/C on this Jeeps) and they neglected to run the drain hose back through the firewall so that it drains outside the passenger compartment. I'm not a mechanic but there is something in the passenger compartment that is part of the A/C unit and this is where the drain hose comes from. They left it so that it drained into the passenger compartment and I had about an inch of water in my passenger seat wells.

The part that requires the drain tube is the A/C Evaporator. This is a "radiator" kinda thing that is cooled by the expanding refrigerant. When it cools the air, water condenses on it like the outside of a cold glass of water on a humid day. That water needs to be drained out of the housing, and car...thus the tube. Sometimes those tubes get clogged up even without the aid of a not-so-attentive mechanic. Check to make sure it is clear.
