Will 17" Rims hit my fenders?

I've posted this a couple other places already, but I want to know what everyone thinks...

I'm getting 17" Enkei Zokus w/ Toyo tires and I have z3 fiberglass fenders. My hatch is at the normal height, and has the stock 13" wheels on it right now. I'm just worried if I'm going around a turn and I hit a bump if there's a possibility of the wheel hitting and cracking the fender. I definitely can't afford to replace those. Please let me know.

Oh, and they have an offset of 40 and it's too late to get different ones.

if your sitting at stock hieght then there is a minimal chance that your rims will hit the fender, unless of some massive bump, but it would also need to be kinda hard to just break your fenders.

fiber glass fenderglass fenders??

did u cut your old ones out cause of rust and replace with fiberglass ones?

or did u sand down the rust to bare metal then fiber glass it?

What the hell are you talking about? You don't have to cut out the fenders. You just unbolt them.

Ha, that's pretty funny. No, the car had a dent in the front left fender when I bought it, so I replaced them both with fiberglass z3 fenders once I could afford it.

Oh yeah, if you are just putting on the new wheels without doing anything to your suspension, then you will appear to have a larger wheel gap. With that wheel gap, it will be less likely that your tires will hit the fender. Unless its a very large bump, while going very fast.

damm i was going to fix the rust on my crx next weekend,by sanding the rust down spraying soem no rust on it, then modling fiberglass onto the bare metal then sanding it down then prime then paint it

but if i can just get rear fiberglass fenderwells,i might as well do that

anyone knoe where i can get rear fiberglass fenders from and for how much, and some intructions on taking the old ones off?

wow.....thats the weirdest thing i've ever heard in my whole life. first the z3 fenders fit the FRONT of the car. those are the ones that unbolt. the REAR fenders are spot welded in, so there's no replacing those puppies. just sand, cut, weld, sand, grind, sand. it's the suckiest thing ever.
