Decent night for Cassie

Well, had a halfway decent night last night, and I really didn't go out with the intention of racing.

Started off with a run with a stock GTI. Ran doors, had to slow down becuase we were comming up on stopped trafic, and we were doing about 80. Thumbs up, not to exciting I know, but it was still fun.

After that, though, I decided I really just wanted to cruise not go race or anything, so I decided to just slow down. I was kinda miffed, I had just saved up 500 bucks for software for the car, and then I find out that the reason I'm getting nasty feedback through the stearing wheel was becuase my alignment was so far off that it had caused to tires to seperate, and a third was going that way as well. So, my 500 bucks for software went down to 40, as the alignment and four new tires cost 460. Son of a bitch.

Anyways, I had been cruising, listening to rap with the windows down (which I dont do to often), and all of the sudden, I notice a Cavalier keeps running up on my tail, and slowing down. So I punch it, then let him get next to me. He tries a ricer fly by, so I step on it, and just walk away. I slow down (comming up on stopped traffic at a light), and he flys by, and hits the hazzards, then turns them off. I just laugh, and notice that hes not slowing down. Not one bit. I think hes gonna swerve over into the turn lane...but no. He ends up rear ending a cop. Im laughin my ass off, and my friend who I had picked up after the GTI race leans over and shouts "OWNED!" and I'm laughing even harder now. They guy tried to blame me, and I was like, bitch, you flew by me and rear ended a cop, its your own damn fault, and then left after the cop told me I could.

Next race was a higway run against a pickup. One of the new Dodge rams, was debadged, dual exhaust, and had a rear window banner that said "Yeah, Its Got A Hemi" and a vanity plate that said "HMI PWR". I'm thinking, yeh, whatever. My friend tells me to punch it, see if we can pick a fight, and so I do. I fly past him, and slow down at his front bumper, and then let ff and let him get next to me (he was mving at a pretty good clip, I had to bring it up to 110 to catch up, and when I slowed down, we were still doing 85/90). He punches it, and I let him get about a length in front of me, and I punch it, and halt his pull. Hes still on it, but I'm walking up on him, and pass him at about 110-115. We get through a little light traffic, and I let him catch back up, and step on it right as he gets next to me. I can hear his engine pushing it, so I take it up to 120, and let off. He cathces up, but wont get next to me, so I hop over a few lanes, and exit and turn around.

Played with a stock Prelude with a nice body kit that would have been better if the rear actually fit or if the car had been lowered, but he had trouble keeping up, so I dont think it was one of the higher end ones.

Also played cat and mouse with a E39 530i through a bit of medium traffic, not moving to fast through traffic, but not exactly goign the speed limit either. All in all a good night, despite having to blow all my money on a set of tires becuase the insurace ageny didn't make sure to have the BMW dealer check my alignment after I got into the accident with the dear a while back. I have the stats right here, man, was it off...I also raced a 93-97 V6 Stang in the Rav4, and won by just over a nose...man, those things are slow...

I've had my fair share of ricer flybyes, but for some reason I've never had anyone do this to me, should I feel left out???

Sounds like someone had a good night. Nice kills and great story of the rear end, that gave me my nightly good laugh.
