I used Dupli-Colors vinyl an fabric spray paint. That stuff worked out great. Plus it doesnt scratch off. You can pick it up at an auto store like autozone. You dont have to prime it or sand it down. The only thing u have to do is use some greased lightning or super 600 to get any grease or protectants off. if there is any left on the piece u will tell. but they have red, blue, green, black, and white. im sure they have more, but those are the only ones i came across.

I used the same stuff on a few minor trim pieces. I actually did my headliner and visors in black using the same stuff and it turned out awesome.

so its spraypaint that was made for fabric but works just as good on plastic without chipping. and when you put it on fabric does the fabric become hard or crunchy or does it stay soft.

I used that stuff on my entire carpet and a couple plastic pieces in the Firebird, and it didnt make the carpet hard, but it did wear away after a year or so of feet rubbing on it, it didn't really peal off the plastic pieces.

Yah it does wear off of the carpet. I did some floor mats with it and it wore off. The plastic pieces I did and headliner still look great.

Could I trouble you for some pictures of your visors and headliner? I want to get an idea of what it actually looks like for color and texture. I'd appriciate it.

Thanks.
