I am getting ready to buy an LSD really soon, and as of right now I am debating between the Nismo 2-Way or the KAAZ 1.5 Way. It is for my daily driver/Weekend drifter, so I don't want it to be too harsh on te street. I hear that the Nismo 2-Way one is not as harsh, but will still lock up like a 2 way. I think the Nismo one is the one that I am leaning towards getting right now, but please let me know if you guys have heard good things about some different LSD's, or this NISMO one. Thanks.

get a 1.5 clutch diff for a daily driver
you must realize that all of them are going to make extra little noises and feel wierd backing out of parking spots and stuff.

Werd... I think the clanky noises sound cool though.
The Nismo and Kaaz will do what they're supposed to but the GT-PRO, Cusco MZs and DEFTFORCEs will have better lockup charactoristics
If its not gonna be a drift / drag car Id either Swap in an S15 driveline or get the Quaife for a N/A 300ZX. which wont make clanking noises and will handle corners better than a clutch type.

quaifes are mucho money!
actually you have the right idea though, if you wanted to do it cheaply I would just put in a stock nissan R200 VLSD fround in 240sx, Z cars, J30, or Q45.
that would be a good daily driver limmited slip as it is a stock one.
you seem like you don't want harsh lock-up traits and that would be the least.
you can also drift with a VLSD for half the price of a aftermarket LSD...
one note about Quaifes are they are real hard to destroy and carry a life-time warranty against anything for any application(race car/drag car/daily driver etc) no questions asked gurantee for life... which is awesome. They are however, not the best aftermarket differential for drifting.

I need more than an VLSD. Thats why I have not bought one by now because I compete in local drift comps, and I need a good one to lock up nice, but I just didnt know if there was a better one that would be easier on the street. I will probably go with the Nismo 2 way because I believe that it will lock up harder than the KAAZ 1.5 way, especially on deceleration. I dont care if it makes noises when I back up and stuff. My friend has a KAAZ and I dont mind the noises. Its kinda cool.

AWDSR20 said that when he got it, he started to have to heel and toe every time he downshifted or something like that, I hope you know how to heel and toe.

The GT-Pro will lock harder than the KAAZ if you want it to (Adjustable) but I doubt the "Street" will.
Id go for a 2-Way for drifting and since your drifting the cheaper ones should work since harsh lockup shouldnt matter as much.
