ok well im driving in my gf's grand am gt we r sittin at a light and in the turn lane next to us a purple mustang revs up, well one of my best friends is a big stang guy so i learned alot and i knew it was a 6 cyl so i put up 6 fingers and laughed my ass off at him. well light turns green and i hear a very very low sound i mean its so good words cant explain it u HAVE to hear it. well its a c5 vette comp yellow convertible. from the rear u def see exhaust body kit u kno all the good looks so i get up beside him for more looks and he knows it bc i gave him a thumbs up and he slows omg this thing sounds sooooo good, well i look at the headlights and see that the lights dont flip up its projector head lights then i look back a little and a freakin superchargers stickin out the damn hood, so he gives her a lil and omg its nasty its so nice so we pull into tim hortons and i talk to him, well hes put over 110,000 green ones in it, motor rebuild and hes got a lingenfelter supercharger on it. well i told him bout that stang he laughed and hes like stangs i dont like em they r slow n im thinkin damn wut a great comment haha, well he tells me his cars got 750 ponys and it runs 220 mph. im shocked. i told him i got a silverado im building up and we talk boutsome more bs n he said hed see me at the track. i mean i cant explain the looks and sound of this car its amazing and the best part the dudes not a dick hes in is like late 30s his lil boy is with him and he is a pretty kool guy. but this car omg i was in love at first sight. but alright so im done its long i know but its worth the read.

Regardless of wether or not the story is true, the fact of the matter is that you completely wasted our time AND AF's bandwidth with your "story". That's why you were shamboozled like you were. Next time you post, just have something worth telling about, instead of a cool car you saw on the road that almost did something, but didn't. You failed first becuase you bought a Mustang, and becuase you cant read or add. He said supercharger, not turbo. The Lingenfelter SC for the C5 is only 10k. Lets say 11k after installation, for arguments sake.

So he has a C5 'Vert. Well, we already know he doesn't have the 54k one becusae those came in Le Mans Blue, not Comp Yellow. In fact, there is no comp yellow, only Millenium Yellow. But lets give him the benifit of the doubt, and say he got the 1SB package, which starts at $52,835. Now then, we'll slap on the Millenium Yellow, cranks it up $750. We'll say all options added, just to get the price as far up as possible. The most I was able to get it off the Chevy website is $58,225. Now then, throw in 11k for the Lingenfelter SC, and its $69,225. Time to do some more simple math. The guy spent $110,000 on the car. So, we subtract $69,225 from that, and we get $40,775. So your telling me that this guy spent 40k on a body kit? What, 20k for seat covers? 10k for a shift nob? I think not.

E36 ///M3 with AA stage 3 Turbo and side exit exhaust sounds better. E46 ///M3 with the Dixis Japan exhaust sounds better. E55 AMG at WOT sounds better. Supra with a big old single turbo conversion running a good amount boost sounds better. But thats just me. Well, I have the deep seated feeling that this thread is gonna turn into a flame war.
