Can someone please tell me how to connect my 4 wire harness for my utility trailer? There are so many wires at the back of my '97 caravan that I can't figure out what's what. Any help would be great. Thanks,

First off, you will need a tailight converter, ($15) you can get these at almost any autostore, I recommend HOPPY. It converts your 5 wire light system to a 4 wire sys, since your brake and and signal are on sep bulbs. This is very easy to do... You just take off rear sill plate by pulling up on outer edges of the gate sealand, it should just pop right off.(easier to use door panel tool or long flat screwdriver) There are all the wires you need.
>>right side harness
Right - brown/red
>>left side harness for the rest
Left - green/red
Brake - white/tan
*Parklights*- black/blue or brown/yellow
*test wires with 12 volt tester, there are usually more than one of these parklight colour wires present(test with ign. off)
Clear paint to bare metal when attaching the ground wire from converter. Hope the info helps.

Make sure what ever you are going to tow is not to exceed recamened tow limits. do you have a transmission cooler? may be a good idea if you will be towing alot.
