how much horsepower does a 92 celica have??

Hello, I just bought a 1992 celica GT-S for 300 bucks. The car runs like a dream..just a little bit of damage on the drivers side. Anyway, I bought it for a race car, we are parting out, the motor for the back windshield wiper, the passenger seat which is leather, and the back seat, the seats are in great condition. For parts email me and I'll send you pics of what ever part you are looking for if we have it on the car. I was wondering if anyone knows how much horsepower the 92 celica GT-S has, what it comes with stock? I know its a fast car but I cant find out how much HP it actually has. 130 hp 140 torque what kind of racing? drag? if ur lookin for serious racing i would look at the 3sgte swap at the top of the celica forum page. good luck

Hey thanks so much for the information. 4cyl stock car racing. It is a total shame that this car is going on the dirt track. It is in such good condition, except the dent on the drivers side, but the person insurance company totaled it out, so the title is salvaged! The picture you posted is identical to the one I just bought! When the car is finished and ready to be raced I will post a picture up here of the finished product race ready! I think this car will blow away the honda's out there. My brother used to race an 86 crx si which is a FAST car, but it won't touch this celica! Hopefully!! hehehe. Thanks again for the information!
