what does the timing

i have a 93 chevy full size work truck i need to time it there is no sticker under the hood with the info like my chilton book refers to..whats it time at? its a z code and what wire and where do i unhook it at>>

I believe it is 0 drgrees.The wire to unplug is black with a tan stripe

On my 90 K1500, the black wire with tan strip is under the black cover on the passenger side of the firewall.

I found mine inside on the passenger side just behind the glove box. It was wrapped in tape so it was tricky to locate.
