Fog Lights?????

Hello,
I just bought a 2001 Grand Vitara 4WD and the fog lights were not installed. I looked through the empty hole where the fog lights should be at and I do not see a wire, plug or anything to connect the fog lights. Does it sound like I will need to install a wiring harness in order to install the fog lights? If so, how complicated is that and what kind of fog lights does it take because my owners manual does not mention anything about fog lights? Thanks a bunch!!
