PCB Etchant Question

After photoetching your desired parts, how do you dispose of this stuff. I have purchased some etchant with the desire to make my own PE parts, but I don't know how to dispose of it when I am done. Any input will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

put it in your neighbour fuel/gas tanks maybe....

Yeah, this is pretty much the reason I've never taken the plunge and tried PE myself. Disposing of the stuff safely certainly can be done, but it will require contacting the local waste management authorities. How to do that, I haven't yet figured out. Here's a nice detailed explaination of how to photo etch. etching (http://www.culttvman.com/acid-etching.html) I'd probably start by emailing this guy and find out how he does it.
