egr valve

does anyone know where the egr valve is i heard someone saying if u plug this up u can get some extra horsepower. has anyone ever heard of this thanks

it should be somewhere connected to your intake manifold. I don't know how much if any you can gain. But the best way is to get a chiltons book for your celica. It is a great investment it will solve many questions you might have.
