well some of you may know already, i have this air foil that goes in the throttle body that was off my last 94 Z28 (exact same car as i have now) and the damn thing would not work in my car now for anything. i would install it and then go to crank it up and the car would run for about 3 seconds and then shut off. consistently.
the same part ran perfect in my last car. didn't make any sense to me, i didn't have hardly any mods on my last car.
well i got a stage 2 jet chip several months ago and a couple days ago i said to myself, what the hell i'll try it again just for shits and giggles. well its been sitting in my toolbox for so long that i had lost the screw for it. so i just stuck it in there loose and installed the intake and everything back on there and cranked it up. the sum bitch worked fine. i dug through my box of screws and actually found the original screw for it, i was amazed. i put the screw in and went and drove it and it ran great. those things dont do much but i was just happy that it was working. increases throttle response, makes it more snappy, maybe a few hp.

Except 2000+ that had the tubular manifolds, then there's not much gain from headers. But...
