sensor help?

does anybody know what the sensor is called that plugs into your colant? and tells the ecu if the car is cold or warm, i think it uses this for a choke. not the sensor that gives the gauge reading.

Isn't it just called your coolant temp sensor? At least that's what I called it at the junkyard when I replaced mine.

well there is 2 sensors one of them is called that im not sure if its the one im talking about tho

The one for the guage is single wire connection, the one for the ECU (choke) is two wires. This is assuming 2g, I dont know off hand what the 1g setup is. The dealer or parts store poeple should be able to find it with this information.
