Need HELP with my 91' Caravan......!!!

I have a 1991 Dodge Caravan with the 3.3L and 187k. The problem I'm having is that one day it will start just fine and then the next day it won't at all. I originally thought it was the crank sensor so replaced it but that wasn't the problem. I hooked up the scanner and it told me that the cam sensor was non-responsive, I replaced it but it still was not the solution. I know the only thing it's not getting when refusing to start is spark, there's always been fuel.

I'm thinking that the ECM might be bad, so I'm trying to find out if anyone else has come across this or if this sounds like it could be the fix I need.......

Any help is much appreciated.......

Thanks

First off, does it ever stop running when its turned on? Or is this problem ONLY on startup?

Second, Im not certain what the exaxt problem is in this case, but here are a few things you may want to check, in order of probability.

1. Plug wires or ECU wring shorting out on something
2. Coil Pack (where the plug wires attatch to)
3. ECU malfunction

I would carefuly inspect all the wiring that goes to the coil pack and the ecu to make sure that nothing has become shorted out or disconnected.

Also, As far as the circuity goes, I can email you a copy of the schematic from the Hayes Manual if you want.

Lastly, if you need any parts to test with, or as replacements, I have a '91 Grand Caravan SE with a 3.3L that I am parting out, and would be more than happy to make you an awesome deal on whatever you need. Just shoot me an e-mail.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.
